mavros stayed in the car. he wanted me, the twins and kairo have a private time. i thanked him for that. sabi niya, minsan lang siya ganun.

"mom, where's dad?" rhaissa said as she looked around the park. there's a playground beside it, and they've been wanting to play nung una palang nila nakita ito.

i stopped on my tracks when i saw someone sitting on the bench, tapping his foot. mas lalo pa akong natigilan nang tumingin ito sakin, at nakipag-eye contact sakin. he stood up and walked towards me, smiling.

rhaissa and kaira looked up to me with confusion. they smiled, knowing kung ano ang meaning ng emosyon ko. they ran towards kairo, giving him a tight hug.

"dad! finally! we got to see you again!" rhaissa said and cried. binuhat naman siya ni kairo habang si kaira ay nakahawak lang sa kamay nito. i looked at them, parang mag-ama talaga sila na ngayon lang nagkita.

"where have you been for all these years, daddy?" tanong ni kaira. umupo ako sa tabi ni kaira at hinagod ang likod niya. naiiyak na ito, but she's trying to stop her tears from falling.

"i'm sorry." that's the word that kairo could only say. kairo pulled them in a tight hug, at niyakap naman siya pabalik ng kambal.

"daddy is here..." he whispered, comforting them while the twins are crying.

all could i ever do is cry while looking at them.
