"U-uh... Kairo?"

I looked at him, then he gave me a sexy smirk. Napakurap ako. Fuck, he looks handsome as ever. Eurydyce and Audrey howled while raising their drinks. Kairo looked in my soul, sending chills in my spine.

"I need to talk with you." Seryoso niyang sabi. I slowly nodded, then he grabbed my hand. His hand is still smooth. Some of the guests were looking at me, but I just returned a sweet smile to them.

When we reached to a much quieter room, he heaved a sigh. "So... you already have a family." He said. Gago, sayo 'tong sina Rhaissa at Kaira! Hindi niya ba narerealize yun?

"Who's the father?" Biglaang tanong niya. Napalingon naman ako sa kanya. Nang hindi ako nakasagot, he pinned me to the wall, using his hands. I gulped. Then, I suddenly thought of an idea.

"Si Mavros, why?" Sagot ko. Mavros is my bestfriend while we were in California. He can also speak and understand Filipino. Buti nga, may kababayan ako dun, nanonosebleed na ako kaka-English dun.

"M-mavros? Who the fuck is he?" He asked. His grip on my wrists tightened until I felt uncomfortable. Our faces are so close, kulang na lang magbanggaan na ang mga labi naming dalawa.

Suddenly, Kairo was gone in my sight. Mavros was in front of me. He cupped my cheeks and kissed me on the lips. I looked at my peripheral vision, I can see sadness in Kairo's eyes.

"Did that man hurt you, wife?" Mavros said, emphasizing the word ‘wife’. I shook my head, then Mavros held my head and kissed my forehead.

"Stay away from my wife, bro." Mavros said as he looked at Kairo. Kairo faked a smile. I know his smile is fake, dahil nakikita ko yung sakit sa mga mata niya.

"Congrats, Raika." Kairo said, then walked away.
