Adam Dawson's POV

I am sitting here, and you are sitting there. We are a few metres apart, but it feels like more.

It feels like you are from a different world, because you are different than me.

You are cool and outgoing. Everyone loves hanging out with or talking to you.

You are beautifully gorgeous and everyone stops to admire you.

Not only are you gorgeous from the outside, but also from the inside.

Most popular people aren't like you; you are unique in your own way.

Compared to you, I am nothing.

Yet, you give me the time of day.

You don't know me, yet you stop everyday to say hello to me.

You also ask how I am.

Maybe that is because your locker is next to mine, and you see me everyday.

Maybe you are just being polite.

Anyway, whenever you are close to me, my throat tightens, and I just can't speak.

It takes me a while to say something.

You stay there waiting for my short replies that I manage to stutter out.

Why do you do that?
