BEAUTIFULLY GO

Sarah Daniels’s POV

The library.

I am standing outside the library, I don’t know why though.

It feels like it’s the perfect place for you, quiet and reserved.

You are quiet and reserved.

You are different.

You have a heart, even if it is a bit broken.

Others don’t.

There you are at the back, alone, watching out of the window eating, even though eating isn’t allowed.

I am standing here staring at you, but you haven’t noticed me yet.

You are lost in the maze of your heart and brain, your feelings and thoughts.

Eventually, you noticed me, when you finished eating.

Your eyes and mouth widened slightly, your eyebrows frowned.

I could feel the blood rushing to my cheeks; you have that effect on me.

Just one look can make me blush, and I suppose I have the same effect on you too.

Next to you there was another seat, and I sat there talking to you about everything and nothing.

You didn’t react, but I knew you listened.

Finally, when I demanded you to talk, you left.

The bell had rung.

Saved by the bell.
