A Recap so far…

“Greetings! I’m Karma, the pretty sister if you know what I mean.”

“Karma, no one cares.” Kassandra cut in. She puffed out steam twirling a long dark strand of hair around her finer. Karma rolled her eyes.

“Whatever.” She murmured slumping into her chair. “Anyways, I’m sure the good people reading this story want to know what this chapter is all about.”

“No one cares.” Kassandra grumbled.

“Actually, I think they do!” The girl with many names cut in. Her emerald green eyes darted between the twin girls sitting on the couch as she belted out a cheerful laughed. “You guys look so silly!”

“Indie!” Karma chirped.

“October, nice of you to finally join us.” Kassandra huffed. Indie giggled again and joined them on the love seat squishing the sisters as she did so. She tugged at the hem of her dress and fixed her choker over her scar before she turned her attention dead ahead.

“Why, hello there! I’m sure by now you all know me. My name is India October Valentine-Hitachiin-Snow. I know, it’s quite a mouth full but I can dig it! These two by my side are Karma, the bubbly sister, and Kassandra, the sinister sister. Two years ago, I fled the United States in hopes of having a fresh start here in Japan with my inventor father. I was too afraid to reach out to anyone or reveal anything about my past. Unfortunately, I managed to stumble upon the Host Club in an abandoned music room. Haruhi, the girl pretending to be a boy and secretly dating the lead Host member, was the first to discover my secret and scars covering my body. After that, everything took a turn for the dramatic. The Host Club became my new family, but someone was still skeptical. Kyouya, the vice president thought I was hiding something and I was. I accidently killed my mother after a huge fight we had one night. She went chasing after me and crashed her car. I was torn, but my brother in Japan decided to come cheer me up. I knew all along he was unstable, that he had MPD, but I didn’t care. Little did I know he had a sick obsession with me and nearly killed me because I refused to marry him. Karma and Kassandra, my best friends and band-mates, were told never to see me again or else Jack, my brother’s psychotic alter-ego, would return.”

“Well, we did find her a year later.” Kassandra huffed.

“That’s right!” Karma chirped. “Back in Japan, Indie was learning to hold her own as a Host member despite some tiffs here and there. She was also living with the twins and started up a cute little romance with the notorious Kaoru. Hikaru and Kyouya were both not ok with their relationship, so Kyouya filmed one of Indie’s performances and posted it on the internet.”

“As you can imagine, we found it.” Kassandra smiled evilly at Indie who shot off a nervous chuckle.

“The two were immediately flown over by Kyouya in hopes of shedding some more light on my checkered past. Jack promptly kidnapped me and I swore never to see anyone again.” Indie explained. Sadness touched her eyes. She lowered her head and sighed.

“All of that happened in the first book.” Karma giggled placing a hand on Indie’s back. “The second book was much more complicated and had more to do with us, the original characters, and less of the Host Club excluding Kyouya, Kaoru, and Hikaru. You see, Kassandra was obsessed with Kaoru who was still in love with Indie and hoped to find her.”

“I was not obsessed!” Kassandra protested. She fixed her glasses to a point on her nose in hopes of intensifying her death glare. Karma simply shrugged it off and went back to her story.
