GAELLE excitedly looked at herself in the mirror. She just finished dressing herself up. She even applied a light make up on her face even though she doesn't like putting make up on whenever she would just go out and roam around the city.

But that day was different because she would be going somewhere with Kellan for a date. Ever since they came back home to Manila, today was the first time that they would be going out together again and she wanted to make herself more beautiful for him. Her smile became even wider of the thought. She couldn't help but to feel happy because at last, he finally made time for her.

When she got contented of her appearance, she decided to go out of her room and went downstairs to the living room to wait for Kellan there. She sat on the sofa and then turned the TV on. She chose to watch discovery channel while kept on glancing at the wall clock.

When she noticed that it was already 4:30 pm, she began wondering why he wasn't home yet. He even texted her a while ago that he would be going home a little bit earlier than the time that they agreed upon because he managed to finish his work in advance.

According to her calculation, he should be home by 4 pm. She was about to pick up her phone to call Kellan when she saw her sister arrived and entered through the main door.

"Hi, Ate. You look like you have a date. Where are you going?" Jillian asked while walking towards her and then sat beside her. She looked so tired but still smiling.

"Kellan and I are going somewhere but he's not here yet. He should've arrived around 4 pm but it's already 4:35 pm"

"Oh, my. Maybe he's caught up in a traffic jam. Don't worry too much and just relax. He'll be here soon for sure" Gaelle heaved a sigh and then nodded her head.

"You're early today, brat, but you look tired" Gaelle said to Jillian who's now leaning her head back against the headrest of the sofa with her eyes closed. She opened her eyes upon hearing what she said.

"Our professor in our last subject was absent that's why we went home early. I'm just stressed out because they keep on throwing us a lot of school works" yes. She really looked stressed out. She's taking up medicine because she wanted to be a doctor just like their mother. She still has a long way to go to finish her course but she's already having a hard time.

"Don't worry. All your efforts and hard work will pay off someday"

"Of course. I will do everything to finish this course so that mommy, you and kuya will be proud of me" Jillian hugged her and then leaned her head on her shoulder.

This is what she loves about her sister. Even though they didn't grow up together, she never gets shy on showing her affection. She's such a sweet and kind sister. She never felt her treated her differently ever since she met her.

"Do you want me to fix you something to eat?" she asked after a minute or so.

"No. I'm okay, ate. Kuya will arrive any time soon for sure and besides, I don't want to ruin your get up" She chuckled amusedly. Jillian stood up.

"I'll just go freshen up upstairs, ate. Enjoy your date with kuya"

"Okay. You make sure to eat after you change your clothes" she chuckled but she nodded her head in response before she strode towards the grand staircase.
