"MISS?" She was pulled out of her reverie when she heard his very manly voice. His voice really complimented his looks.

"Yes? 'Were you saying?" He gave her a smile which made her heart leap all of a sudden.

"I said, I see that you like it here" she nodded slowly.

"Yes. It's really beautiful here"

"If you don't mind, what are you doing here? Why did you leave the party?" she furrowed at him. She was about to answer when he continued.

"I saw you at Bea's party a while ago that's why I knew that you're one of her guests"

"Ah---okay" he stood up and approached the flowering plants. Her eyes widened when he picked one of the pink roses there.

"What are you doing?! Why did you pick that flower?!" he just ignored her outburst and went closer to her and gave her the flower.

"I don't want to accept it! That's considered stealing because that flower isn't yours to pick" he chuckled amusedly.

"Trust me, it's not stealing. Accept it because this is for you" she raised an eyebrow.

"Why are you giving me that anyway? I don't even know you" she said sharply.

"Then, I'll introduce myself to you. I'm Kellan Zackly. There, you already know me. Can you accept this now?"

"Why are you giving it to me?" she repeated her question.

"I just thought that this flower suits you. it's beautiful and smells good. Just like you" the beating of her heart became even faster because of what he said so in order to hide those strange feelings that she was feeling because of him, she chose to behave a little bit churlish towards him.

"Are you playing around with me?" she knew that she mustn't get affected by him because he's obviously a sweet-talker not to mention that he's so handsome. He has a lot of women available for him on the side for sure. She's sure that he's just trying to flirt with her.

"Of course not. I'm just telling the truth. You're really beautiful and I like your smell. I picked this flower because I suddenly remembered this flower when I first saw you at the party. Anyway, what's your name?"

She stood up.

"Why would I tell you my name? I don't talk to strangers. Nice talking to you. Bye" she said curtly and then turned her back on him. She heard his delicious chuckle but she ignored him. She was almost at the entrance to the pool area when she came across someone.

"Hello, Gaelle. It's nice that I saw you here. Why don't you come with me? Let's have some fun together" he said and then held her hand. She suddenly felt uncomfortable with the way he held her hand. Even the way he stares at her made her uneasy.

"I'm sorry Louis but I need to go home now. It's already late. I'll just go look for Gia and Enricko" she said and then pulled her hand from his grip. She was about to step away from him when his grip on her hand tightened. She winced.

"Enricko and Gia are busy right now. C'mon, just come with me. Let's go to the bar nearby" he brought his face closer to hers. She could smell the alcohol in his breath. Her eyes went wide when he pulled her by the waist and was about to kiss her.
