My Girl

~Chapter Nine~

"Where is my swimsuit?" I groaned as I bent down and looked in one of my drawers.

I sifted through the bottom until I grasped the odd material in my fingers. I sighed as I pulled it and inspected the suit.

It was black with three white strips over the chest. I only owned a whole piece because I don't like to wear bikinis around Cora. To me it shows too much skin and I want to be an example for Cora. I also do it for my own benefit. I don't like showing a lot of skin to begin with. Blake made me hate my bod anyways. I always see this large, overweight reflection in the mirror instead of me.

I stripped down until I was completely naked and changed into the suit. It fit me perfectly. My hourglass figure was defined to perfection with the materials help. I actually looked nice and was confident in what I was wearing.

"Wow," Brad said from the doorway.

I turned from my mirror to him. He wore his swimming trunks already, leaning against the doorframe lazily. His toned chest was on full view as well as his rock hard abs.

He has been working out a lot more, I said in my head.

"You look great Sam," Brad grinned as he looked at my legs.

I shook my head and smiled myself. I grabbed my swimsuit cover off the bed and slipped it on before looking for Cora.

I knocked on her door before opening it. I peeked inside and saw her struggling with her pink suit. It was a dark pink with white polka dots covering the empty space.

"Need some help little monkey?" I asked as I came to her side and unraveled the material. "Are you excited about going swimming?"

"Oh yes! I hope Mr. Clinton has a huge pool," Cora said exclaimed.

"I bet he does," I chuckled and pulled her swimsuit cover over her head.

She giggled happily as she picked up her toys and flip flops. I grabbed my own things like the bag full of towels and sunblock.

"Brady! Hurry up!" Cora yelled at Brad.

I laughed loudly as he came out of the kitchen with a handful of crackers.

"I'm coming, I'm coming," Brad waved off like it was no big deal getting bossed around by a five year old.

We hoped into the car and made our way to Finn's house. I knew his address from the paperwork I have had to do for him, but I don't know where he lived.

Brad was helping with directions but even then we got lost. We didn't make it to Finn's house until it was about 10:30.

And let me just say, Finn's house is in the middle of no where. It is surrounded by forestry that all looks the same. And Finn's house was so guarded, I had to go through a security gate before driving down the road even further to have the tip of his house in view.

Cora grew excited as she looked around the forestry and saw the tip of the house. Windows soon came into view before we saw just how huge Finn's house was.

Finn's house was a mansion. Which honestly, doesn't surprise me one bit because of how much Finn makes. I expected an extravagant house like he has.

Finn's house was modern with a touch of Victorian style. It was a polished white with darkly tanned trim. The landscape was amazing, having bushes and lots of different flowers. We had the windows open so I could smell just how great the flower's scent filled the air. His house was absolutely beautiful, but I could never see myself living in such a large house. To me there is too much room, because the house most likely has about 40 rooms and how many people actually stay here? That's a lot of rooms going unused.
