Definition: Free verse poems do not have any set guide lines and are written however the author pleases. They do not have to include meter patterns, rhyme or any other musical pattern.

A/N: Hey guys, I need an honest opinion; is "Baby Steps" or "Her Part to Play" better? I can only enter one or the other in the ATTYS. Thanks for the feedback :)

Life is best described by science.

Every action causes a reaction.

Some are good, others bad.

All you have to do is push the ball to get it rolling.

Paint the first stroke,

Say the first word,

Make the first move.

But you never know what reaction you’ll get.

Maybe you’re afraid you’ll get a bad one.

But that’s okay,

We’ll help each other through.

Start with baby steps.

We’ve all got bad situations.

But we’re really only,

One or two steps away from help.

Make the first move,

The rest will follow.

And if you’re really daring,

Take a leap.

But if you’re scared,

That’s okay.

We’ll help each other through.

Start with baby steps.

Just one or two,

Three or four.

We’re almost there.

We’ll make it through,

With baby steps.

If you just make the first move.

Take the first step.
