Defintion: A palindrome is a word, phrase, or in this case, a poem where it reads the same backwards and forwards. Such examples of words and sentences include; 'Hannah', 'race car' and 'Madam I'm Adam.' Punctuation is not iincluded.

Note: For a palindrome poem you may use words, letters or lines to be read backwards. I have used words. The words do not have to remain on the same line as the words surrounding them when they are reflected later in the poem.

A/N: Okay, I thought this would be easy, but it was HARD. I have high respects for anyone who can write a palindrome that flows nicely in under an hour (with at least the same amount of lines as the one below) Criticism is appreciated. I need all the help I can get here! Anyway, I hope it's at least half-decent and it's not too painful for you to read. :D

Btw this poem is about the life of a writer and how they often hate the process of actually writing (me all the way) because it's so tedious, uneventful or lonely. This is the journey of writing a fiction book and how I, as a writer, live- in silence and often lonely nights with a blank word docuement.

Pen to paper begins it all.

With tap-dancing fingers and fluttering thoughts

My words bled ink.

From pages these new worlds emerge.

Barren plains and thriving kingdoms.

Flying dragons and stubby-nosed dwarfs.

Where the lands of truth and tryst and treasure lay waiting in old myths and legends.

From wise stories of morals and ethics grow words of undoing my compassion and cruelty.

Joy and sorrow are my internal battle within words of love and hate.

A writer’s nightmare and personal struggles seen never as printed text.

Such lonely silence and quiet agony in miserable oblivion,

Is a bitter life of storytelling.

Storytelling of life.

Is a bitter oblivion miserable in agony quiet and silence lonely?

Such text printed as never seen

Struggles personal and nightmare writers,

A hate and love of words within; my internal battle

Are sorrow and joy, cruelty and compassion my undoing?

Of words grow ethics and morals of stories wise.

From legends and myths old,

In waiting lay treasure and tryst and truth of lands

Where the dwarfs stubby-nosed and dragons flying

Kingdoms thriving and plains barren emerge.

Worlds new,

These pages from ink bled words.

My thoughts fluttering and fingers tap-dancing.

With all it begins, paper to pen.

Du hast das Ende der veröffentlichten Teile erreicht.
