I'm failing,

You're sailing,

We keep calling,

But still we're falling.

You think your dreams are the same as mine,

But I can't leave in this critical time,

I guess I'll pretend everything's fine,

Smothering my pain in the richest wine.

Everyday we're always trying,

But one day you'll look back and see that we're dying,

And in the memories everyone's crying,

Who said the truth was worth finding?

Hopefully one day you'll see,

That through the glass you're staring at me,

Trapped and never meant to be,

Maybe one day you'll be free.

Such a lovely color or you,

As you start turning blue,

Suffocating behind glass you can't break through,

How we sit and stare at you.

Smash against the glass,

As your body hardens like brass,

A woman with such class,

Dies and becomes part of the grass.
