**Obviously I can't seem to write long parts when it's in Stefan's POV so I might start doing Ashley's full time unless it's necessary for Stefan. Any thoughts on that?**

**Stefan's POV**

I was sitting on her doorstep waiting for her to come downstairs. She had looked in a hurry about something so I didn't press when she went upstairs real quick.

"Hey," she smiled brightly and sat beside me.

"Hey," I pulled her closer to me as she blushed and laid her head on my shoulder.

"So what did you need to tell me?"

I already knew I had worried her with how blunt my text had been so there was no doubt she had worried about it to an extent. It had nothing to do with her, and I needed to tell her that before she started thinking too much.

"My dad told me we needed to be careful about where we hang out. There's been wolf sightings apparently... Did you know we had wolves here?"

She stiffened slightly and then giggled, "yeah we have all kinds of animals here."

"Yeah but wolves? I mean, would they really attack us? Oh that's another thing, I know they're your favorite animal and all but I don't think we should go anywhere near them."

She didn't say anything for a minute and I wasn't sure if I had upset her or something. "Ash?"

"Hmm?" She looked at me, "oh right. Yea it's probably best we don't," she looked down at the grass.

"Ashley what's wrong?" I pressed my forehead against hers and made her look at me.

"Nothing Stefan, I'm fine," her violet eyes glared back at me.

"Okay," I murmured and figured it was probably best if I left. "I'll let you get some sleep, you seem tired. If you need anything just text me."

She sighed and hugged me tightly before letting go, "thank you."

"Anytime babe," I kissed her cheek gently and walked away. It took everything within me not to go back and kiss her more or hold her until she would tell me what was wrong. She just didn't seem like the type to tell someone so soon about things.

My mind was still trying to figure out what had happened. Was it something I had said? Or had something happened before I arrived?

Figuring I had nothing better to do, I began driving down towards the cemetery. Who gives a shit what my parents thought, if I wanted to visit my girlfriend's grave then I would.

There was a light that was beside her tombstone that collected sunlight during the day to glow at night. It brought me comfort knowing she might be here watching over me as I gazed at her tombstone.

"Well... I guess you already know what's going on," I mumbled and sat against the stone. The sky was growing darker as some stars splattered the night.

This would probably be a good time to stop my monotonous monologue that had gone on for too long. I knew it was possible to let her go, but boy it was hard.

A growling brought me out from my thoughts as I looked up to see where it came from. What the hell?

The growling sounded again as I noticed the flash of fur and the reflecting of gold eyes. Wait what!

A wolf stepped out from the tree line as I stood up slowly and tried to remain calm. My car was a little too far away for me to run to it, but maybe it was just hungry? Well that wasn't good either...

I started to back up but it growled even louder and began coming closer. Shit!

"Uh, nice... Wolf?" I stammered as I heard more growling from behind me.

Turning I saw another wolf and blinked twice when I saw purple eyes. You've got to be kidding me.

**so what do you think?! Will he figure it out or just not even believe what he just saw? Happy to have your support and I would love suggestions!**
