"Come on Aoife, we've got to post the video sometime!" Dara pleaded with me.
Dara is American while I am Irish - but we have been best friends ever since we could remember. We both moved from our home countries to our own shared flat in London as soon as I turned 18. Dara is about a year and a half older than me, so while I am newly 18 she is 19 going on 20.
Ever since Dara and I went busking a while ago she's wanted to upload videos of ourselves singing; with the background music of my guitar and her piano.
We both work at Jack Wills, which is a ton of fun considering it is a job.
I finally gave in knowing that Dara would never stop.
"Fine, what song?!" I replied, trying to sound annoyed, which didn't last long - I couldn't stay mad at her.
"Elton John, Your Song?" Dara said smiling at me sweetly.
I nodded at Dara reaching for the camera; and I turned it on while waiting for Dara to come back so we could start.
Little did I know, what I thought was going to become a personal online song collection, was about to become a huge hit.
