Take a breath and dry your eyes

The time for sorrow has passed

Just raise your chin, take one look back

Because time will move by fast

That doesn’t mean you must forget

No, hold on to those mem’ries

Keep going for tomorrow’s sake

But always remember me

Remember the good and the bad

Laugh and reminisce

But don’t detour from life’s path

For all the moments you miss

I promise you, it’ll be alright

The tears will soon be dry

Don’t worry, I’m at peace now

And on you, I’ll keep my eye

I’ll always love you; that I swear

To the moon and far beyond

And one day, I’ll see you again.
