You know those things you say that you wish you never said!,those things that make you feel bad after you have said them,
Those words, or conversations you want to stop having on your lips all time, Its time to stop them!,and stop them finally, and thats why i love the word of God!!!! , it just has the perfect answer for any issue ,
Please know what the word of God says about the tongue! In
James 3:6
**(NLT) And the tongue is a flame of fire. It is a whole world of wickedness, corrupting your entire body. It can set your whole life on fire, for it is set on fire by hell itself.**
And see what the bible says about a man that was able to control his tongue! In
Mal 2:6 tells us,
**The law of truth was in his mouth, and iniquity was not found in his lips: he walked with me in peace and equity, and did turn many away from iniquity. (NLT)**
**(NIV) True instruction was in his mouth and nothing false was found on his lips. He walked with me in peace and uprightness, and turned many from sin.**
please notice this man did not control his mouth with his own effort but by the WORD OF GOD!!!!. Many people struggle with bad words,statements because they try to stop by their effort but its high time
You realize that it doesnt work that way, you need Gods word to help you in every situation!,and thats why I love the Way NIV puts it , true instruction(the Word of God), was in his mouth , and thats the solution!!!!!!!, keeping Gods word on your mouth. All the time will enable you to not say any wrong thing, false words, conversations, will not be found on your lips ,and you put the word of God on your lips by studying and it day and night! like
Joshua 1:8
**(NIV) Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.**
And Mal 2:6 goes on to say that you will have peace and it would help you turn away from Sin!,
And thats because James 3:2 says
**(NLT) Indeed, we all make many mistakes. For if we could control our tongues, we would be perfect and could also control ourselves in every other way.**
By the time your tongue is in line with the word of God , your whole body
Will also be inline with the word of God,!
