A cliché is something that is overused. Here's a list:

- There are clan-born purebreds (How is a bengal born to two tabby domestic shorthairs?)
- The MC is a purebred
- Genetics do not exist
- The MC is the most powerful
- The MC must have a traumatic past
- The MC becomes deputy without training an apprentice
- FORBIDDEN LOVE IS A MUST GUYS OK
- Medicine cats are all handicapped
- MC becomes leader
- Cats have bangs (How. Just how.)
- MC wins every fight
- Villain is a dark-furred tom
- MC gets the sexiest mate
- MC catches, like, 10,000 mice, 300 birds, and 40,000,000 rabbits
- MC always beats villain
- MC is always the good-guy
- Cats get pregnant then give birth the next day
- Cats magically get pregnant
- Everyone loves/hates MC
- Always that one egotistical/bully/annoying cat picks on MC
- The bully is actually jelly (jealous)
- MC is the subject of a prophecy
- Animals speak multiple languages (Sorry, Erins, but how does a badger speak cat?)
- ShadowClan is just evil. Evil. The evilest.
- MC is immortal
- Only elders get ticks
