When Life Brings us down

I feel like this story, which was one of my original from scratch stories, has kind of been lost in the storage closet of my works. I'm writing this authors note to hopefully bring it back to life. With the wonderful readers I have and a little bit of recommendations to friends, this story could thrive. I wrote this in 8th grade for an assignment. It had to be 10,000 words so the end is kind of sloppy, and I'm kinda nervous to actually get reviews on this. So please comment and please be kind!(not that you aren't already)
