(Remember that I haven't finished season two yet and haven't started season three. I'm also not in the fandom or anything so idk anything about it besides what I've seen thank you)
Ok guys I'm gonna give my 100% honest opinion
This show is good but also terrible af.
Half of the time while watching it, I'm facepalming and losing brain cells. I think the casting is odd like wtf they ain't 15/16 no matter what you say
Ok so I haven't finished season two yet but so far, I like it better than season one. I think season one was very cut and dry, but season two feels more in depth and thought out.
Now, the characters(don't get mad, ok? Just my opinions): •Betty is annoying af. Like the only time I LOVE her is when she's Dark Betty. She's not a bad character, and definitely not my least favorite, but there are so many aspects of her that bother me.
•Jughead is perfect. Although he has his rough moments, I love him. I also have basically everything in common with him so that's a bonus.
•Archie is probs my least favorite character bye he can leave I ain't even wasting energy on his ass
•Veronica is pretty chill. Parts of her bother me but overall she's pretty badass and cool, I love how she stands up to her parents and is so loyal to her friends.
•Cheryl is my favorite character(next to Jug) even if she can be a bitch. The fact that she's a bitch makes me like her for some unknown reason. And burning down her house and then manhandling her mom? Yes queen
•Toni, I don't know much on, but so far she's pretty chill
I won't do all the characters, but there's a gist.
Also, real quick, 1. Archie and Veronica aren't a good match sorry not sorry 2. KJ Apa isn't the best actor so far in season two ?😬 (or ever...) 3. Archie needs to respect his dad more bYE
But fr I do like the show. But the characters test my patience a whole lot and make me wanna go back to school so I can gain brain cells back😂
This is all opinions. Don't come at me, Riverdale stans. Overall, I like the show. It's just not AMAZING.
