Chapter 2

I've never felt so sore and so happy at the same time. Ang hirap bumangon kasi ang sakit ng balakang ko. Daig ko pa ang nasagasaan but I couldn't wipe the smile off my face. He wanted to do one more round pero for the first time ay humindi ako. Hindi ko na talaga kaya. He did not even grow limp, gusto ko tuloy pumalakpak kung hindi lang parang nasagasaan ng ten-wheeler ang pakiramdam ko.

We kissed before we parted ways and it was sweet how he followed my car to my condo and only left when I turned towards the basement parking of my building.

I woke up late and I had to reschedule a meeting with our creative department. Gusto kasi ni Alexa na kasama ako sa Creative team kahit di naman ako ganun ka-creative. I nearly cried when I saw the gold plaque outside my own office that says Lia Agatha Carbonel, Creative Consultant. Ang pakiramdam ko ay may silbi ako for the first time. My phone rang and I smiled seeing the name reflected on the screen.

"Alexa!" I happily said. "Good morning, dearest sister."

"Ate! Anong nangyari sayo? May sakit ka ba? Bakit nag-reschedule ka daw ng meeting? Hintayin mo ako, I'll come over. Have you eaten breakfast? Kakagising mo lang ba? Anong oras na at hindi ka pa nakakain?"

"Hoy, dahan-dahan. Wala akong sakit nasobrahan lang ako kagabi."

"Ha?"

"Ikwento ko sayo, next time na magkita tayo. Grabe, ang galing nya pala at ang laki nya. Hindi ko ma-explain yung size nya, normal pa ba yun?"

"Normal ang ano?" Alexa asked and I laughed. Si Alexa kasi napaka-inosente pa rin kahit nakadalawang anak na at buntis na naman ulit. Pero I like her innocence kasi hindi peke at hindi pilit. Nagi-gets nya yung mga kamunduhang pinagsasabi ko pero meron akong mga kwento na hindi nya masakyan agad.

"Hay, naku! Maaga pa lang eh kaya ayokong punuin ng kaberdehan yang utak mo. Minsan mag-overnight tayo ni Lee Ann para makapagkwento ako. Itaon mo na lang na meron ka para naman pumayag yang asawa mong mawalay ka sa piling nya."

"Ate talaga." She laughed. "Pero are you sure you're okay? Sabihin mo sa akin if you need to be taken to the hospital."

"Mamaya silipin ko kung kailangan ko ng stitches dun." I blurted out before I laughed loudly.

"Ewan ko sayo, Ate! Why do I have a feeling puro kabastusan yang sinasabi mo? Tama ka, ang aga pa nga for such talks. O sya, tumawag lang ako because I received the email that you've rescheduled the meeting and I got worried."

"Salamat, Alexa sa pag-aalala. Minsan feeling ko sa ating dalawa ay ikaw ang Ate." I muttered and she laughed.

"Feeling ko nga rin ako ang Ate kasi mas matindi ka pang magpasaway kay Lee Ann. Papasok ka ba ng office or may modeling stint ka ngayon?"

"Papasok ako after lunch kasi may kailangan akong tapusin. Have you reviewed the budget proposal for the hotel's promotions that I emailed you?"

"Oo, check your email because I already approved the proposal although meron akong suggestions."

"Sige, dadaan ako sa office mo later so we can talk. Don't work too hard at buntis ka, ano ka ba."

"Alam ko, nakaupo lang naman ako dito at nagbubukas lang ng emails."

"Alas singko pa lang umalis ka na or else kakaladkarin kita pababa." I told her and she laughed again.

"Opo, Ate. Thanks sa concern. I love you, I'll see you later."

"I love you too. Yes, see you later." I replied before I ended the call. I limped towards my bathroom. Grabe naman yung taong yun, for the first time ay hirap akong maglakad after a vigorous loving. I mumbled grinning. I lit the scented candles and turned the small speaker, that's connected to my Ipod, on. "Hay, langit." I murmured smiling as I took my bathrobe off while Michael Buble's Always on My Mind played.
