Watching Morality suffer was glorious. Absolutely glorious. He had no idea we were doing to this to him either. It's perfect! Absolutely perfect, it's exactly how we planned. Lovely...

He couldn't stand it. The thoughts wouldn't leave. They couldn't leave. It's like someone wanted him to suffer. Patton continued crying into Logan's lap, just trying to get rid of THEM. The thoughts were turning overly sour as Logan started petting his hair. He will never love you, he will never love you, he will never love you... THEY whispered into his ears, as the faint voice of Logan whispered "It will be okay, it will be okay, it will be okay."

Patton continued crying, the conflicting thoughts overwhelming his brain. He had enough strength to reach for Logan's hand, grasping it for dear life. Make it stop... the meek thoughts of Morality burst through. This may have been normal for his attacks, but this one was still different. THEY were voicing different opinions than normal. As the voices finally died down, Patton looked up at Logan with a shaky grin and almost collapsed onto his chest. Luckily, Logan caught him right before he fell and brushed the wet hair out of Patton's face.

Logan noticed Patton look up at him. He looked so drained, so depleted. Yet he still smiled. How can he smile after that? Logan pondered for a short time, interrupted by Patton almost fainting onto his chest. Catching him before he completely fell, Logan brushed Patton's wet hair to the side. His face looked so sad, yet still so so drained. Not thinking, which seemed to be a recurring thing these past two days, Logan smiled and did the unthinkable.

Logan leaned into Patton's tear stained face, smiling all the time. Patton looked up, though so tired, and continued the shaky smile he was so desperately trying to keep up. With a blush on his cheeks, Logan lined Patton's lower lip, then ever so softly kissed Patton's nose. Patton's face turned a dark pink, and he reached for Logan's face and pulled him closer. With their faces so close, Patton leaned slightly in and kissed Logan ever so softly. Logan smiled, and hugged Patton as he soon noticed how close to sleep Patton was. He slowly fell down onto the bed, Patton still in arms, and kissed his nose once again, this time with a bit more passion. Patton developed a small, real smile as he finally allowed his eyes to close. Logan followed Patton into exhaustion not long afterwards, both of them laced together, as if afraid to let go of one another.
