The Move

Chapter 20

Madi's POV

"Now our final and last team which is actually in first for today is.... Cheer Athletics Cheetahs"

My team jumped up and hugged each other. It was a great feeling knowing we get to move on! I ran up to Matt and gave him a big hug.

"I'm so happy" I mumbled into his ear

"Good because I don't like seeing you sad" he laughed

We walked off the mat hand in hand with our team in front of us. We all ran over to our coaches giving them all hugs.

"Get back to the hotel and eat a nice and healthy dinner and get some rest! We will have the team mom text all of you the meet time and where! Be ready to kill it tomorrow" our coaches smiled

"Madi and Matt come on let's go eat" Payton smiled walking over to us.

"Ok let's go" Matt smiled at me and started walking.

We went back to the hotel and went to the Cafeteria. I got a salad along with chicken Alfredo, a breadstick, and Lemonade for a drink. I payed for my food and went and sat down getting a table for all of us to fit in. I saw Nick and Haley walk by searching for a table so I called them over to sit down with us.

"Haley!" I yelled after her

She turned around and scanned the room when her eyes went to me making her smile.

"Hey madi! You were amazing today!" She smiled walking over

"You too! I know aces will win this year! You guys shouldn't have gotten 2nd last year! Oh here you two can sit with us we have plenty of room!" I smiled motioning her and Nick to sit by us.

"So I heard Cheetahs is going into tomorrow in first place! That's great" She smiled

"Yeah but I feel bad for Cali Coed I know they have worked hard for first especially since there wanting a back to back!" I frowned

"I love Cali coed but right now you need to focus on get your 5th ring!" She laughed

"I'm going to but I'll be cheering coed on tomorrow!" I told her

I saw Matt and the girls walk over.

"Hey Madi who are these two?" Payton asked eying Nick

"This is Haley she's on Cali Aces and this is Nick her boyfriend he's on ACE Warriors" I smiled

"Oh nice to meet you two" Payton faked smiled

Matt sat down on the other side of me and Payton, Jamie, and Ashley sat down across from Haley, Nick, Matt, and I.

"So what place is Aces in so far?" Jamie asked Haley

"Were going into tomorrow in 2nd place only by .1 though" She slightly smiled

"That's great! .1 isn't a lot but tomorrow they clear the scores and re score on your final performance" Ashley told her

"I know but last year it was the same we went into the next day in second by .1 and we still got second the next day" She sighed

I saw Nick whisper something into her ear making her smile. She turned back to us girls. We swapped seats so Nick could talk to Matt about whatever.

"So have you talked to Jenee?" Haley asked

"Uh no I saw her at Disney the other day and well she got mad at me for something" I sighed

"Oh I'll have to talk to her she's been really bratty I guess since that girl came and took your place! I have no idea what's gotten into her!" She frowned

"I got to see Robert though and few other smos it was nice seeing them I've really missed them!" I frowned

"Well I should probably get back to my room! My meet time is early meanig I have to wake up at the crack of dawn to get ready but it was nice seeing you! Text me sometime tomorrow and we can meet up and go to Disney or something after awards" She smiled giving me a hug

"Yeah we should head to bed to and yeah I'll make sure to text you! Tell Paige I said hi!" I said hugging her back.

Nick said goodbye to Matt and him and Haley went back.

"Well I'm heading back to the room are you three coming?" I asked

"Yeah! Were coming" Jamie smiled

I said a quick goodbye to Matt and the girls and I headed back to the room to get a nice sleep for tomorrow. I went to bed dreaming how Cheetahs won worlds.
