This IS an important note, not clickbait tittles. This is info for future chapters.
Shikimaru will be a bit different in this story than in the actual show, if you haven't already noticed. Around Akemi he'll be a lot more kind, considering they've known each other for awhile by now it the story. I also want you to remember that Shikimaru is Mature for his age, so he's about 8-9 at this point in the story.
While he will be much kinder around Akemi, he will be a bit colder to other students in his class. (Excluding Choji, obviously. Though he will be a bit offensive since Akemi doesn't seem to like people.)
He will seem ooc, but when you go through the circumstances, it's completely plausible. His actions aren't without reason.
I recently had someone pm me about how Shikimaru's attitude wasn't realistic, and that he wouldn't give two shits about Akemi.
1. He met her as a young child. 2. There's a difference between growing up the way he did in the series compared to meeting a secret friend. 3. Its a fan fiction.
