You entered the bridge and handed the PADD silently to Kirk, and he looked at you with some surprise as he took it.
"Good to see you back on duty," he said. "McCoy thought it wouldn't be until tomorrow at the very least."
"I heal fast, sir," you said expressionlessly, taking the PADD back.
Kirk smiled at you. "That's good. Ensign, Spock has to sign that too."
You glanced around the bridge and looked back at Kirk, tilting one eyebrow up quizzically. Spock wasn't there.
"He's in the biochemistry lab."
"Thank you, sir."
