VII: moving on

Now that I am happy there is no going back to that sadness. I have officially moved on from that. This is the last day of December and tomorrow is New Year's Day. A new beginning, a fresh new start. A new year with new endless possibilities. I can't wait to see what the next year has in store for me and I'm ready for it. I feel so much older than when the beginning of this year started, since the past five months have happened. I feel like I have lived an entire life already but this has just been the beginning. I am going to spend today with Ashley and Andrew, of course, my two favorite. I can't wait to see the fireworks that represent me making it through another year, another year of valuable lessons. I've realized so many things this year and I cannot wait to share it all with the world sometime. My book is being sold in some states already and it's receiving so many positive reviews so far that it helps me recover more and more every passing day. It is amazing how one nice comment can go such a long way, making someone smile. You never know what someone is going through, your compliment might help them reach for that light of hope that I have always been talking about. It's such a beauty. I am proud of my accomplishments and that I made content people are enjoying and relating to. People send me pictures on my twitter of their real friends and there's a trending topic under the hashtag #myREALfriends that people post and talk about their supportive friends. It warms my heart so much seeing the groups of friends from all around the states. I would've never thought that so many people have split from a close friends and pushed their way through to find their true destined friends. Also, people are raving about Liam (Andrew's fake name in the book after I edited it) and how it was amazing that even though he did do mistakes, he was meant to be for Hayley, which is me in the book. A lot of people talk about the murder scenes in my book and how they capture the anger really well. That it is an excellent representation of angry gone wild. People are talking about the ending most of all. That is all I hear on twitter too.

Did you see the ending coming?

omg that ending left me SHOOK

Jane Cail did such an amazing job!

Some people do criticize the book. I really don't pay attention to that but sometimes I do to understand why my book isn't some peoples' cup of tea. A lot of people don't like the vague writing style and others do not agree with the violence in my book. Obviously, they haven't read the ending. Andrew tells me not to pay attention to that crap and I've been trying so hard, and I've gotten better and not. I always love reading the nice reviews though!

Some readers of mine want to know who the real people are and stuff. I only have posted Andrew once on my page and people went wild when they say him. It was crazy, my phone had over a thousand notifications after I posted that. I am waiting to put Ashley at a special place. I'll probably bring her to my book signings that are planned in mid January. I am really looking forward to that too, I am so excited to meet my friends and interact with them. I went from having a couple hundred of followers to now 124k followers! It's been something huge to adjust to but it's getting better smoothly.

Andrew rings my doorbell and I step out of the house in a red dress. It makes my curves look decent and my ginger hair contrasts nicely on it. I am wearing red lipstick too, I did my make up so well today too, perfect for New Year's Day.

"Wow, you look stunning," Andrew stares and his eyes widen.

"You look so handsome."

He's wearing his brown hair spiked up again and he has a tuxedo on. He looks so goddamn handsome. Ashley comes out of his car in a white dress with white heels. She looks beautiful with her newly died hair. Blonde again just like before, it's so soft and silky again too. I've always been in love with her hair. Her blue eyes too.

We all greet each other and then we get into Andrew's car. We play music all the way up and arrive at the fire work field. It's a few miles away from my accident but I try to forget about that.

We pull out some chairs from the trunk of the car and spread them out on the lawn. We look into the sky and when the clock hits 12, fireworks appear in the dark sky. I lean over and kiss Andrew.

"I want you forever," I say.

"We will be forever," he says this and leans in to kiss me again.

The fireworks continue for a coupe minutes and when they are over, we all head back to my place.

We blast music, have fun, drink, and we're finally free. We are finally free from the demons of last year and we are new people. New goals, new aspirations, new lessons to learn. I became close to the best people I ever known last year and I hope this year I can become even closer with them.

When we are so tired from dancing and partying, I crash down on my bed with Andrew right next to me.

I doze off into a deep beautiful sleep.
