"Your highness I was sent to go get you clean" Kinoshita informs me.
"Oh uh thank you Kino, I will go with you immediately" I get up from my bed and swim behind him. Kinoshita grew up in the palace alongside me as his parents served mine. He's one of my close friends in the castle.
"Your highness you've got to stop dirtying yourself up like this, it's really hard to rub off of your scales." He warns me
"Kino how long do I have to tell you , Call me Nishinoya ! The whole your highness title isn't very fitting for our friendship" he shrugs and sighs out
"You know I can't do that anymore now that we've grown." I roll my eyes and set myself down in the tub. He begins to slowly water down my tail. I shudder a bit.
"You need to relax yourself you know that ?" I nod in response and look up towards the pearly walls. Tails are one of the most sensitive parts on a merperson, especially the scales near the hips. Kinoshita never dares to go anywhere around my hips due to respect. I appreciate his sense of privacy. He's the only person I trust to clean me, not saying I can't clean myself.
"You are all done your highness" he nods down at me. I look up at him and smile. I lie still and watch as he leaves. I stare at my tail and feel a wave of discomfort. I sometimes wish I didn't have this thing. I sometimes wish I was born with something more than this. I shake my thoughts and swim up back into my room. I sit near the edge of my bed and I hear my door open
"Your highness your parents are requesting for your presence" I nod and swim out...
(A/N : somehow I keep making Nishinoya's chapters bland and short ? Why do I do that ? I really need some conflict on his part ! Anyways hope you enjoy this weeks chapter !)
