I swim as fast as I can to my room . I love to mentally race with the pillars around the corridors. No reason to but I find it enjoyable. I suddenly pass by my brother's room. Yamaguchi. He never comes out and never talks to any of us. I remember during the times we all gathered to eat he would talk sometimes but now not even a peep comes out of him. "Yamaguchi ?" I say quietly in front of the door. I'm really hoping for an answer ... Silence ... I sigh and move along. I open the door to my room and glance at the mirror inside it . I begin to play with my fluffy orange hair . I admire it , makes me unique. Makes me feel like a fresh fruit . I smile at myself . I'm not self centered, I just appreciate myself. I move away from the mirror and look towards my window . The palace is beautiful. How the opal pillars and ceiling sparks along with the pure white pearl floor. But the real beauty is beyond the palace . Near the sea shore . I look down towards where my mother and father's thrones stand. Father seems to be speaking with someone and mother is no where in sight. They wouldn't mind if I went out for a bit ?
