I Need Information

I'm home. I'm finally home. Well, Typhon is home, but Atlas is where I was born. So much is the same. Tall buildings, futuristic designs, and the same snobby, entitled people. That opinion was courtesy of Qrow. The buildings were not easy to maneuver around, especially in a drop/cargo ship.

"Land there." Qrow pointed at a clearing. I brought the ship down in front of what looked like a headquarters. There were two people standing out front. Qrow saw them. "Great. My two favorite people," he said sarcastically.

When I landed the ship, Qrow spoke again. "Team RWBY, Oz, Milo, you guys are with me."

"Everyone else: Don't. Touch. Anything." I added.

The cargo hatch opened and Qrow grabbed the relic. A ramp slid down and Weiss smiled. She almost ran forward but Blake grabbed her arm. "Stay professional."

Qrow walked ahead of us to greet the people. He nodded to them both. "Jimmy. Ice Queen." He smirked at the woman. She sighed in annoyance.

"Qrow. I see you safely have the relic. Now, if I may have it, I will deliver it to the vault," the man said.

"Oh no. This thing comes with rules. Do not sell it to anyone. Do not use it. Do not give it away, do not trust anyone with it other than me, Ozpin, or anyone in that ship. Do you understand, Ironwood?"

"Of course. I could not have said it better myself. Now, I need to take it to the vault." Ironwood held out his hand.

"I'm coming with you. You can't even begin to fathom the hell we went through to get it."

"Fine. Winter, why don't you stay here and reconnect with your sister?"

"As you wish, General," the lady Qrow called 'Ice Queen' said.

Ironwood and Qrow went inside and Winter stayed out. She sighed, turning to Weiss. "How are you doing?"

Weiss and Winter started walking away. All I heard was, "I'm doing alright. I can finally summon! After this we're headed to Vale."

Winter then said, "I recognized your team, but who's the other person?" Shit, they're gonna talk about me now.

I was out of earshot, so I could not hear anything else. Qrow walked out with Ironwood. "We're done here, Milo. Fire up the ship. Wait, where's Ice Queen and Ice Queen Junior?"

I couldn't help but laugh at that. "They walked away."

"Can we leave them here?"

"Of course not, as much as I'd like to. Although, they have two minutes or will leave them." I pulled out the scroll I bought in Mistral and called Weiss. I said, "You have two minutes or I'm leaving."

"You're bluffing," she replied curtly.

"You think I'm joking." I walked inside my ship and fired up the engines.

"Fine, I'm coming."

"That's what I thought. See you soon Ice Queen." I hung up.

Weiss came running towards us with Winter not far behind. "Bye Winter, it was so nice to see you!"

"Likewise. Let me now when you're in Atlas next so we can better prepare a meeting." Winter waved and walked inside the building.

"Alright, get in. We're leaving now." I took control of the ship and brought it up. I set the GPS to Vale and activated the forward thrusters.

"I know a place we can go in Vale. Let's get drunk!" Yang threw her arms up. "Besides, I need to 'talk' to the owner."

"Now you're speaking my language!" Qrow shouted. "How fast can we get there?"

"Fast. I need someone to stay with my ship, someone that isn't my Titan." I don't trust that she won't mess something up.

"How about Oscar and Ruby, seeing as they aren't old enough to drink?" Qrow suggested.

"Objection!" Ruby shouted.

"No. You're staying here." Qrow shook his head.

"Besides, everyone's gonna be drunk as hell and I'm gonna need some help carrying them back to my ship." I pointed out.

"But, won't you be drunk?" Ruby asked.

"I have a high tolerance and self control. On another note, everyone, set up your sleeping bags now so you can just sleep when It's time to leave."

I steered the ship down to the bar. It was huge. Huge enough for me to land on the roof. I landed the ship and opened the hatch. Everyone filed out except for Ruby and Oscar. I spotted a door with an elevator behind it. Everyone packed in and we descended. The doors open and we were greeted with loud music and flashing lights.Behind the bar, there was a tall man cleaning a glass. Yang walked in front of all of us.

Yang sat on one of the stools. "I'll have a strawberry sunrise. No ice. And one of those little umbrellas."

"So Blondie, what're doing back here?" The man asked.

"Well Junior, I'm here for information and to get drunk. Mostly the latter."

Junior served her drink and asked, "What do you wanna know?"

"I need to know where team CFVY and the rest of team SSSN are."

"How much are ya willing to pay?"

I stepped in. "I'm willing to pay whatever the fuck you want. Just tell us what we need to know."

"Alright. Well, the rest of team SSSN is staying in a hotel not far from here, and team CFVY is hiding out the abandoned part of town, the part that's crawling with Grimm. They're lucky they're huntsmen, or they wouldn't last a day out there. Why?"

"Classified. Now, I need a drink." I threw a large sum of lien on the table.

Junior went behind the bar and came back with a tray of shots. I removed helmet and took one. "Hey everyone!" I said only to my friends. "We got what we need to know. Go get drunk and enjoy yourselves."

---timeskip of three hours---

I went up to my ship to retrieve Ruby and Oscar. "Everyone's drunk. I need your help." I said to them both.

We went down in the elevator and, one by one, brought everyone up and put them in their sleeping bags. Ren was the only one who wasn't drunk, other than myself and those who stayed on the ship.

I went to my chair in the cockpit and fell asleep.

I woke up the earliest. I played some music through my helmet and read a book. Weiss came in and groaned. "Morning, Weiss. You feeling okay?"

"How drunk was I last night?" She rubbed her head.

"When you got back on my ship, you started to flirt with Ruby."

"What's your point? She's my girlfriend." Weiss crossed her arms.

"You asked her if she was single and cried, and I mean full on sobbed, when she said she was taken. Not gonna lie, it was pretty amusing to watch."

"Whatever. Do you have any water on this ship?"

I opened the mini fridge that was behind me. Whoever the owner of the ship is was smart. I handed her a bottle of water. "Drink this and go sleep off the rest of your hangover. I need you sober and ready for battle in about six hours. We're going after team CFVY in the part of Vale overrun by Grimm. At least, that's assuming the information I got from Junior is credible." I sat back and returned to my book. Blake recommended it. It was about a man with two souls. It wasn't bad. Weiss returned to her sleeping bag. Hopefully, all goes well and we'll have team CFVY and team SSSN rolling with us soon. We need all the reinforcements we can get, especially if my suspicions are true.
