Larissa walked down the hall to her locker. She worked on the combo for about ten minuets the clock ticking away as she effortlessly tried to

pry the doors open. She would be late for class.

The hall began to empty. Soon, there were no longer any students left. And she was alone...

The lights dimmed. Larissa looked around confused. But she was still trying to open her locker.

There was the sound of footsteps. And a crack like stepping on a twig that rung in her ears and it began to blend in with the footsteps. So the

two sounds became one, in a bittersweet sort of way, making Larissa shiver.

Then she saw a boy. She knew at first sight he was no ordinary boy. He was walking down the hall, and he didn't look like one of the students

late for class like she was. He was different...

Larissa continued to work on her locker. Ignoring him, but his presence lingered and she just had to turn back and see him for once more.

He had beautiful blue eyes, but not a regular blue. The blue was a light blue but not bright. It was a dull color but with his features and hair it

seemed to shine. Especially with the line of silver running through it.

He had vicious black hair. It hung in his eyes making him even more beautiful. He was wearing dark jeans, black converse, and a navy blue

tee shirt that was tight against his chest.

He almost looked like he had just got off of a commercial for whitening toothpaste. He was that stunning. But in a way, he had his own sort

of uniqueness that was warm to her.

He looked in her eyes for a moment. His dull blue catching her brighter blue. And the corner of his lips tugged upwards and it as if he

almost smiled at her, but not quite.

And then he stopped. Right in front of her. Looking her in the eyes, catching her attention completley.

"Larissa?" He asked looking at her suspiciously, searching not her eyes but her very soul.

"You know my name?" She said in a nervous tone.

He looked taken back. As if she'd just insulted him in a very hurtfull way. But she hadn't...

He shook his head leaning against a locker beside her. "I'm dissapointed in you Rissa"

"No one calls me Rissa" She replied. When she was young, her old friend had called her Rissa but she couldn't remember his name...

"I really thought you'd remember me" He said, his dull blue eyes squinting.

And then the sun brightened through the window, and sunshine began to fall over his body making him fade into light.

Larissa shook her head confused. She may have been in a wild dream. One of those dreams you have when your five and then when your

a little older you have that same kind of dream again.

When she was young she would dream she was at a pond, and when she looked into the water she saw fish swimming around. It was a very

dull setting to which she would watch the fish but there was always a sunset and it made her always excited to go back to sleep

so she could visit that pond again, enjoying the scenery.

But now, she felt as if she were in a dream even more exciting than before. A handsome guy claiming he knows her, and then fading

into the sunlight.
