I started Discovering Parker when I was 16. I had always been passionate about writing and to say this story just came to me one day sounds like a overused statement, but its true. I started writing this to fill a void in myself. Sable is a reflection of myself. My struggle with anxiety and depression caused me to look for coping mechanisms, writing being one of them.
I struggled writing this. I was hard on myself and my writing and in return held myself back from what I truly wanted to write. Discovering Parker was not supposed to end at chapter nineteen but I found myself pushing myself to write even if I was unhappy with it. Therefore, chapter nineteen is the unofficial ending of Sable and Parker.
That being said, I hope you enjoyed and felt something from my words. And to those who write and find themselves struggling, do it for yourself. Write for you.
Thank you for every comment, every vote. And although Discovering Parker is finished, I feel the desire to write more. At 21 I've experienced more than my naive 16 year old self had. I've grown as a person and hope to show that my writing has too.
