"Oh my God!" Zoey says, "He must have gotten very angry."

"Oh yeah," I reply, "When 7th grade started, everyone had heard the story. We would walk down the hallways, and people would act different. Not as many people would say hi. They looked scared whenever Logan was around. It was just so… different… But Logan knew that he had an ego to live up to, and that's what he did. We had stayed friends with the same people, even made some new ones that year, but I was the only person that he acted himself around."

"Wow, that's crazy. Do you think he's ever going to show that sweet side to anyone else? Like who he really is?" Lola asks.

"Well," I say with a sigh, "I'm afraid that this NEW Logan is who he THINKS is the REAL Logan, but he knows deep down inside who he really is and I believe he only wants to show that to me because, ya know…" I say, unable to finish my sentence. Before I know it, I'm lost in my own thoughts. I remember the day of 7th grade when Logan pushed the football captain, Josh Bernard, into the lockers. After school that day, I got home from volleyball practice and Logan was laying on my bed crying because he felt so bad, but had to prove that he was a tough guy and he had to live up to what everyone expected him to be. I remember him telling me-

"You were with him through it all?" Zoey says, getting me out of my thoughts.

"Uh yeah, cuz I was with him through it all," I say.

"EMMIE!" Logan runs up to me after me volleyball game with a very concerned look.

"What is it Logs?" I ask, returning the concerned look, but with a little confusion added to it.

"Well how about you look over there," Logan says, turning me around.

My eyes widen wider than they have ever widened before.
