If there's something I can't stand, it's my friends getting hurt. - Rainbow Dash
Rainbow Dash began the series being bullied by Sunset Shimmer and her friends. However, she didn't let that affect her and carried on being herself - she didn't change for anyone. As the series progressed, we saw her become more accepting of herself -and Sunset, when she joined the friendship group.
During Summer, Rainbow was a little too competitive and got in trouble for it. But, she learnt from her mistakes and made friends with the other cabins! She proved that there is always room in your heart for more people, even if you were enemies to begin with.
And, in Look to the Future, Rainbow really grew up and learnt about relationships. She put too much trust in Soarin -who was lying all along- and that ended up with her and Applejack's relationship failing. However, she found her feet, and, with the help of her friends, managed to fix things and be more herself than she had ever been.
Rainbow Dash has taught us to be strong, forgiving, accepting, and, of course, loyal.
