Thousand thoughts around my head,
I'm wondering on what lies ahead,
What is love? What is up above?

Who cares about me?
How can they see?
Through my lost heart, my true art,

How can they believe, can I just leave?

Why is hope so hard?
Why is love so hard?
Why is the world so cold, can stars grow old, will they grow mold?

How does it feel to be confused?
Was our purpose used?
Can we lose light, just like we can lose a fight?

Why put our fears to the test,
Why do they tell us to do our best?
Why in the world do we stress?

Thousand thoughts around my head,
I'm wondering on what lies ahead,

How much do I have to gain,
To stop all this pain,
Of being all alone?

Why do we let ourselves drown in our own sadness?
Don't you know it will let us get trapped in complete darkness?

Why do we worry?
Why aren't people sorry?
That was never part of the story?

Is disgust a horrible dust?
Something we see in our air?
To show us life isn't fair,

Why am I here?
Why can't I be there?
Or maybe I should be nowhere.

What does it feel like to be cut by a single knife blade,
How does it feel to be under nice cool shade,

Why can't ghost and monsters just rest,
They only do less,
By just being under our beds and walking in our heads,

Why do people just give up?
Is it because someone told them to "shut up"?

Why can't people just stop and look around,
See the light that is bound,
Hear all the sounds,

How could they believe?
Can I just leave?
