Elena's POV

"Eleanaaaa. Wake up" June said pushing me off her bed

"whaaa?" I blinked sitting up and looking over the bed at June glaring she started giggling

"You fell asleep." She said through giggles

"eh..the movie was boring…" I trailed off standing up rubbing the back of my neck

"Oh shit, what time is it?" I added quickly

"Uhh...four o'five" June said looking at her watch

"Crap. I have to watch the twins in like ten minutes." I said grabbing my cell and dialing the house as I pulled my boots back on

"Cheshire residents. John speaking" my Uncle said

"Hey Uncle John, Is my mom around?" I asked fiddling with my keys while I waited for June.

"She's abit busy at the moment Ellie. What did you need?"

"Just tell her I'm going to be a few minutes late please?" I leaned against the car tapping my fingers on the hood

"I shall tell her. See you when you get here Ellie."

"See you soon Uncle John. Bye" I hung up and slide the phone back into my pocket

"June will you hurry the hell up!" I yelled as she walked outside

"Sorry I had to make sure Turtle had food" she said lighting a cigarette as she walked up to me

"Why you named your hamster Turtle I'll never know." I laughed and walked around getting in

"Cause he looked like a Turtle when I got him"

"You have yet to show me proof of that." I turned left and headed toward the back roads seeing as they were a hell of a lot quicker atleast when I was driving.

"Well if I ever find the picture. Oh geeze you're taking the back roads?" June sighed and put out her cigarette

I looked at her "What? You have a problem with the back roads?"

"No. well yes, but only when you drive! I'm amazed you have yet to kill us" she hissed

"Hey! I'm a good driver." I said

"Yeah, when you obey the laws!"

When we got back to my house June got out and kissed the ground I rolled my eyes at her

"I didn't go that fast miss drama queen."

"Bull! You were doing 75! When the speed limit is only 20!" June said appearing next to me at the door

"This coming from a person who does 110 on the highway.." I looked at her

"That's different"

I laughed "Right"

"Hey! Atleast I don't have to worry about hitting an animal! Or worse!" she hissed

"Whatever June, Mom we're back!"

Mom appeared from behind the door and looked at me smiling

"We'll be back around midnight, there's money for takeout in the kitchen." She said kissing my cheek and then June's who turned bright red.

"Okay mom. Have fun" I said

"We will, Oh and one more thing, Sally called she left her new number for you cause she forgot to give it to you when she saw you. Love you!" she said heading out the door with my Dad, Uncle John and his new wife whose name I forgot.
