part five

Elena's POV

Me and June stuck back into the school trying not to get caught.

Eric was nowhere in sight so we were safe for the time being anyways.

"So, what are you doing tonight?" June asked me as we walked past the auditorium

I shrugged "Nothing I don't think. Mom may have other plans for me though"

"Oh, well if you're stuck babysitting we could just do homework." She said

"Okay, what time do you wanna come over?" I asked looking at the clock having a mental countdown going. Five minutes to lunch.

"Err…"She thought about it before finishing "sixish?"

"Alright sounds good, I should be home by then. I'm taking Gabby to get her car."

She nodded and stopped in front of her locker I leaned against the one next to it

What was wrong with Gabby? She seemed sad when I picked her up.

Had something happened before I had picked her up? Or last night maybe? Crap. This is going to bug me all day.

The bell ringing pulled me back from my thoughts as the halls filled with students I watched as they walked and some ran by looking for Gabriella.

I looked at June who was fixing her eyeliner for the tenth time.

"You need to get a different brand, June." She closed her locker and looked at me

"No shit." She half laughed "let's go, I'm starving" she said grabbing my hand and pulling me into the mob of people.

As we walked in I saw Gabriella with Mary.

"I'm getting food, feel free to sit with Gabriella today." June said before heading off to the lunch line.

I sighed as Mary walked off leaving Gabriella by herself

I walked up behind her and slipped my arms around her waist hugging her from behind I kissed her cheek as she grabbed my hands "Hello there" she said sounding surprised

"Hey" I said turning her around so she was facing me and kissed her softly. She turned bright red.

"So where are we sitting?" she asked smiling.  I love that smile.

I looked back at June who was getting tacos. "Where you sit" I smiled back and walked toward t he table where Mary and I'm guessing her boyfriend where sitting.

Mary smiled at Gabriella as we sat down.

"Elena, this is Alex, Mary's boyfriend. Alex this is Elena, my girlfriend" his eyes got wide for all of a second "You're a lesbian?"  he asked eyeing her. I thought she was bisexual.

" Y-yeah." Mary gave him a 'really you had to say THAT' kind of look.  Made me want to giggle reminded me of dad when I'd say something at a family get-together. I grabbed Gabriella's hand and squeezed it

"That's super cool" he said smiling. Mary slapped him not hard but hard enough he felt it

 I couldn't help but laugh. Gabriella did too.

"Don't scare my best friend like that." she growled at him

He eyed her. "It's what I do best!" he looked over at Gabriella and she looked down

Marisa sat down at the opposite side o f the table from me & Gabriella

"What did you do now Alex?  Can't you leave the poor girl alone? Especially today" She smiled at Gabriella
