Death is all Cico has ever known. Everyone she has ever loved or cared about had died one way or another. At times it felt like she was cursed at birth. Her birth mother died while in labor and she never knew her birth father. From what the doctors knew, Cico's mother came in not knowing she was pregnant until her water broke while at work. Her mother was only 17 and from the one picture she has of her mother, she was all skin and bones with thin dark brown hair.

When Cico turned three she had been through three foster homes. Her first parents where killed in a car accident but Cico made it without a cut or bruise on her skin. The next two families began to get scared of her when explainable events began to happen around her. The second family she lived with walked in to find her playing in the blood of their dead cat. She was back in the foster care that afternoon.

Her third family didn't believe the story the foster care told them about with her third family. With in two months they were dead too. After the third family the foster care tried to keep Cico hidden when families came to get a child. They were able to keep her hidden for five years until the foster home caught on fire. Once again, Cico was the only one who made it out unmarked by the flames. It was about that time that Cico realized that she was why all of the accidents were happening. The only way to stop it all was by leaving. So while everyone was rushing around, trying to get the kids out, Cico ran off into the woods.

For ten years Cico lived off of the woods and the hand outs she could find. By the time she was 19 she had saved all of her money she had ever made by doing odd jobs here and there and was able to rent a one bed room house. Cico never had friends. Whenever she started to get close to someone she knew it was time to leave. She didn't want any more people dying because of her. For 13 years no one died because of her. She worked and stayed home. She rented movies and ordered take out food. She never had people over. She never talked to her neighbors. They all thought she was mute. She never went out to night clubs. She found the farthest she stayed away from people, the safer they would be. That was until he showed up. The guy in the black suit.
