“Where did she go?” Abby yelled as she rushed into the room. Adrian had trashed the room when he had found the note she left and Abby must have heard him yelling. How could she not, he had been yelling at the top of his lungs. Adrian had just punched the mirror in the bathroom and was about to punch the wall when Abby jumped in his way.

“Adrian! Dude, fucking stop!” Adrian snapped out of his anger when he heard Abby say fuck. Abby was one of those who never said that and the fact that she just did caught his attention. Looking around the room, he saw what he did and the anger came back again. “Dude, what the hell happened?”

“She left, she left and she is in danger. I care about her too damn much and she left. I don't know where she went and her car is gone. I can't find her! I can't fucking find her! Something or someone is blocking her from me,” he snapped, grabbing his hair. “I can't lose her, I lost her once before and it won't happen again.” Abby knew who he meant when he said her the second time.

Nicole Winchester was Adrian's first love and last, as Abby had thought, until Cico showed up. Nicole was a secret that he kept from her father. Abby only knew about her because she had caught Adrian leaving one night to come up above. Wanting to see the world about her, Abby had followed him and was surprised to see that he had met someone that he cared about.

When Nicole had noticed her, she didn't act scared. She had actually smiled at her and ignored the look of anger and worry on Adrian's face, as she walked over and hugged Abby. That was when she realized that Nicole knew about them. That was why she didn't know about her and why Adrian was so nervous. The girl was a human, a young and innocent human.

“Adrian, nothing will happen to her. We will find her. How long have you been in here, destroying the room? When did you find the note?” Abby grabbed his hands from his hair and looked down at the already healing cuts.

“I don't know. I went to talk to the guy at the front about the TV but came back and it was fixed. She had left a note and I must have flipped out,” he said, locking up his jaw. “Maybe an hour ago, I'm not really sure.”

“Adrian, I'm sorry to be the bitch right now but you just wasted an hour when you could have been looking for her. If she is actually in danger than she might be gone already,” she said pulling him along as she grabbed his car keys. “Get you ass in the car, we are going to look for her.”

Adrian kept his mind open, trying to find her somewhere close by. He needed a connection to know that she was alive and safe. Why did this have to happen to him? She thought she would be the cause of his death? She was wrong. He was going to be the cause of her death. The only reason Abby wasn't dead was because Death was her father. Death would do anything for her. She was the only person he truly loved.

“Where is she?” Abby called out as she sped out of the parking lot. “Try her house,” he said, still trying to find her. All the way from the motel to Cico's place, Adrian didn't find her. When they pulled up to her house, he saw that her door had been kicked in. Fear grabbed a hold of him and he was out the door in seconds and running inside.

The living room looked fine, no signs of a break in, that was until he got to Cico's bedroom. Her room was trashed. Clothes thrown around the room and her closet door still open. A bang came from behind the bathroom door and then a small yelp of pain. Before he could get to the door, it flew open and Cico came running out. “Adrian!” she threw her arms around his neck and cried into his shoulder. His arms were around her within seconds and he could feel his own tears falling down his face. Pullig back from her, he grabbed her face and kissed her hard.

“Never do that to me again, you scared the shit out of me,” he said before he was kissing her again. Holding her close to him, he buried his nose into her hair and stood at the foot of her bed holding her. Abby rushed in and saw them through her open bedroom door. Slowly stepping back, Abby walked back out to the front of the house.

She wasn't looking where she was going, and when she felt arms come around her and covered her mouth she couldn't scream. She tried to kick and throw punches but the person held down her arms and trapped her legs in between theirs. “Hello, Miss Abby. Missed me?” a male voice whispered in her ear. “Had your father so so worried,” he said as she tried to summon her power but he noticed. “No, no. Don't want to do that do you? Wouldn't want something to happen to your sister.” Abby froze in his arms. Looking down at her, he saw the confused look on her face.

“Oh my, you didn't know did you? Cico is your sister. Turns out your father meet someone else right after your own mother. Don't you want to be there for her when your friend meets his death? Keep quiet if you want to keep her and your little friend alive,” he said as she started to back away and out the front door, with her still trapped in his hold.

As they stepped onto the front steps, Abby bit down on his hand and when he let go on a hiss she let out a scream for help before everything went dark.

Adrian's head snapped up when they heard Abby cry out for help. Grabbing Cico's hand, Adrian pulled her with him as he ran to the sound of her cry for help. When they got to the front door it was too late, who ever took Abby had sped off already. “Oh my god,” Cico said as she broke out into tears and cried into Adrian's back. “This is all my fault, I shouldn't have come back. I should have known he would follow me.”

Adrian snapped his head over to her and lifted her face up. “Who are you talking about? Who would follow you?” She wiped at her tears and looked up at him scared.

“Him, Damian Black, Death,” she said on a low voice. “I was at the cafe with Andy and he walked in. He was asking about you. When I found out who he was I left, but I should have known he would follow me. I was heading back to the motel but remembered I left something I needed and found the door kicked in. I was so scared, so I hid in the bathroom. I didn't know if he was still here or not.”

“Come on, we need to find Abby. I'll call someone I know who can help. Maybe they will know where to find her.”
