Waiting for James to come back was the worst thing ever! I tried busying myself to do a lot of things but once I'd finish them I'd go back to worrying

"Hey carol want me to help?"

"That's ok I've got it" she said

I nod and walk outside, Hershel and rick where gardening in the field and some Woodbury people where scattered everywhere, I heard a car engine and looked to see the cars coming back! I quickly ran over and opened the gates until all the cars made it in I quickly shut the gate back and ran to the cars. I looked around is everyone going to the cars and most people crowded around them also I saw uncle daryl get out if the car, I ran over a hugged him,

"Your back!" I say "and safe" I added before letting him go, I felt someone tap my shoulder, I turned Around and saw James!.. He had tears in his eyes

"What happened?" I ask putting my hands on his cheeks making him look at me,

"Zack didn't make it..." he said looking down, I instantly felt bad, they where like brothers.. and Beth! she's going to be devastated!

"It's ok" I say hugging him he hugged me back burying his face in the crook of my neck "at least you back and safe" I whisper to him

"I'll talk to Beth" I say

"No I'll do it" uncle daryl said from behind us, I nod to him

"alright... uncle daryl your not the greatest at comforting people tho..."

"I think I can handle it." he said walking away

I looked back to James
"Come on you must be tired" I say pulling him to our cell making him lay Down

"But I can't sleep!" he whined

"You haven't even tried! stop acting you shoe size!" I say laughing

"Will you sleep with me?" he said puckering his lips

"Your such a kid" I say getting in bed with him, I snuggled into him

"Maybe but it works" he said kissing the top of my head before going to sleep, I couldn't help but fell safe in his arms and fall asleep with him
