I close my eyes
To hold back my tears.
It's hopeless to think
Of you with me.
You're a senior,
I'm a freshman.
I'll never have a
Chance with you.
Then you appear
Out of nowhere,
As I begin to think
It's impossible for us.
You give me a smile
And an all-knowing stare.
That glare of yours
Giving me that Shimmer of hope,
Once again.
