Believe In Me

I may not be able to get

Rid of your painful memories,

But I can make them bearable.

When you're sad, I may not have

The right words to say to make you feel better,

But I'll do my best to make you smile.

If you're bullied, count on me to be ready

To find this person

And make them see their mistake.

When you feel alone, know that you'll

Always have me, through thick or thin,

I got your back.

I'm not here to lie and backstab you,

But to love you and lift

You up when you fall.

I'm here to help you face your fears,

To wipe away your tears,

And to hold your hand if need be.

So please,

Not for your sake or mine,

Believe in me.
