If Time

Her heart was for one at first.

Such a childish dream it was.

She never thought she'd be falling

Again.

Time and fate conspired together.

His handsome face as emotionless as ever.

A slight warmth in his eyes that only she

Had seen.

One word could break the spell.

Shattering the feeling that

Time has stopped.

One step, two steps,

Now he was right in front of her.

She just wanted to feel his eyes

On her forever.

She was putty in his hands,

Half-thinking this was all a dream.

A slight brush of lips, then poof,

He was gone.

Leaving her to think,

If time could stop, wouldn't it be nice

For these moments to last forever?
