Ross' POV

Once we walked into the house, Laura right away stormed into our room.

Well, her room now, I guess.

I ran after her. "Laura, can we at least talk about this?" I asked.

"We already talked about it. You know, when you said I should date Riker," she said without even looking at me, shutting the door in my face.

"Well, can I at least come in?"

"No!" She shouted from the other side.

"Laura... I really need to talk to you."

"No."

"Okay well, I need a blanket and a pillow if I'm sleeping on the couch..."

A few seconds later, she opened the door and threw the blanket and pillow to me, then shut it.

I sighed picking them up from the floor.

"Laura, I'm sorry..."

She didn't answer.

I turned around and was about to walk down the stairs when I noticed Vanessa watching.

"You saw?" I asked, referring to what just happened between me and Laura.

"All of it," Vanessa answered. "Come here."

She started walking down the stairs and I followed her.

"Why'd you do it?" She asked as she walked around the kitchen and I prepared my bed on the couch.

"I don't know... When I saw Maia, I just- I felt something," I said, feeling guilty already.

"Something huh? Well, let me tell you a little something." Vanessa sat on the couch across to mine.

"I know you were jealous of Riker and Laura."

"Yeah, a lot-"

"But, Riker and her weren't even dating."

"What do you mean?"

"Hello? Maia, Raia... You guys were dating in Puerto Rico. How do you think that made Laura feel?"

"Wow... I never thought of that."

"The only reason she started hanging out with Riker, Ross, was because she was upset you betrayed her. Ever since you were co-stars on Austin & Ally, she has had a major crush on you. And once she finally got you, she wanted you to be hers. But you didn't make her feel like she's the one you love. Going around, kissing another girl. After she's been trying so hard to get you to notice her, she doesn't wanna lose you again..."

Vanessa made me think... A lot.

"Wow. Thanks Vanessa. I'll talk to Laura tomorrow."

"And I'll make her talk to you."

We both laughed.

"Good night," I said as she walked up the stairs.

"Night!" She said back.

"Oh wait!"

"Yeah?"

"Is it okay if I take a walk outside? I won't go to Maia's, I swear!"

She smiled, "Okay, I trust you."

I smiled back.

Now she's suddenly being so nice, I laughed to myself.

I grabbed my phone and some money, just in case and walked outside.

I decided to go to Hallway Park. It's basically like one of those parks where they filmed romance movies in. I love it there.

As I kept walking, I noticed a little girl on the streets. Sitting, shivering cold.

I ran up to her.

"Hey... Are you okay?"

"I-I-I'm so cold... I want my mommy!" She whined.

The little girl was no younger than 6.

"Shh... It's okay. Where's your mommy?" I asked.

"A man came into my house and took mommy away," she cried.

"Oh... Really? Since when?"

"This afternoon! I left the house looking for mommy and-and I couldn't find her and got lost..."

"Aw, it's okay. Do you want me to take you home?"

"Mommy's not home anymore."

"Well... Do you wanna come with me?"

"But-But I don't know you."

I smiled, "I'm Ross Lynch. From-"

"Austin & Ally!"

That made me laugh, "Yes."

"Will I meet your band if I go with you?"

"Sure. You'll get to meet one more special girl of mine too."

"Who?"

"Ally." I nearly blushed saying that.

"Yay! Let's go!"

I laughed again, and carried the adorable blonde girl.

"Hey, what's your name?" I asked.

"Melody."
