bitter pink drips like a vocal waver, a hum, a strummed electric bass' vibrato sounding in my lungs. 

citrus stings track snail trails down to the dusty, muddied disc in my hands. 

you banished clouds to dissipation, but left me shrouded in the mist.

even as the tempest rages on, i do not regret my situation.
