He sees his hate

Luke: “Do I really suck?” You looked up from your own computer and at your boyfriend across the room. “What?” “Do I really suck? Like…in general?” You gave him a confused look as you got up and took his phone, looking at the hateful tweet. ‘@Luke5SOS when you say your band sucks, I think you just mean yourself.’ “Luke,” you said turning his phone off but he was already angry. “I…I didn’t do anything at all! I mean, why?!” He pulled at his hair and pushed his body into yours. You quickly wrapped your arms around him and held the back of his neck. “You don’t suck, don’t beat yourself up over it.” His arms wrapped around your waist and he lifted his head off your shoulder, a small smile creeping on his face. “God, I’m so happy I have you,” he said hugging you to him tighter.

Ashton:

It was a lazy day and you and Ashton decided to spend it on twitter. As he was scrolling through replies and mentions, he saw a few that got him upset. “Well,” he said, continuing his scrolling. “That was…okay.” “Ashton are you okay?” You shut your laptop and start stroking his hair. “I…what the hell?!” He shouts at his laptop before thrusting it in your lap. Looking down at the screen, you look at a few of the mentions and how they’re all hate directed at him. “I…I’m nothing but nice to them and, I mean look at their other tweets they’re all nice to the other boys why me?!” His voice raises an octave and he starts rubbing his face. “Hey, hey look at me,” you say softly, pushing us laptop away. “Ashton,” you say taking hold of his face. “What they say doesn’t mean shit, alright? Don’t listen them they mean nothing. Okay?” He nods before kissing you softly. “Want me to make that soup you like?” You say as you stroked his hair. He nods before getting up and taking you both to the kitchen.

Calum:

“Hey Cal, your mom is gonna be here at six right?” There wasn’t a response, and you looked out from the bathroom. He sat on your bed, his back flat against the sheets and his laptop on his chest. “Calum.” He slowly turned his head so his gaze met yours. “I hate twitter.” “Why? You love going on twitter.” “People on here are so mean though. Look at all my mentions,” he said giving you his laptop. Sitting next to him, you begin to scroll through the messages, most of them insults directed at the both of you, the other ones directed at the band. “Calum, most of these people are just really stupid. Why are you letting them get to you?” He had pressed a pillow to his face and rolled onto his stomach. “Because,” he said turning to look at you. “I don’t do anything but follow people and reply. So why should they be hating on me?” You rubbed his back and laid next to him. “Cause the world is a shitty place. And not everyone is as nice and sweet as you.” He smiled before kissing your forehead. “I should probably get ready, my mom is gonna be here at six.”

Michael:

“You suck,” he said from the living room. “You suck, you suck, you suck, you’re probably gay, you need to not,” Michael just kept saying things at his laptop. “Mike are you okay or are you Skyping someone?” You looked out of the kitchen to see him holding his gun attachment for the PS4 and pointing it at the computer. “No, I’m just mentally shooting people who are sending me hate,” he said pulling the trigger at the screen. “Insulting them also works.” You sighed before coming and taking the gun from him. “Michael, you’re better than that,” you said cupping his face. “You can insult them, but all you’re doing is sinking down to their level.” “Can I shoot them?” “That’s murder.” “Oh.” “Shoot them down with kindness Michael,” you said kissing his forehead as you took his laptop. “Babe, can we make a pizza?” “Are you gonna shoot them down with kindness?” He nodded before getting off the floor and getting the necessary ingredients.
