"Angelica, I simply do not approve if you just want to have men remove your corset. If you know what I mean. " Eliza told her sister, Eliza approved to go to the Winter's Ball, but not to go be with soldiers who are desperate. Eliza rolled her eyes. "I'll get dressed. Oh, Angelica, wear something appropriate, you should be the one telling this... To us." Eliza rolled her eyes ever so slightly as she exited the room. She sighed, now that she knows she's

Adopted(A/N THIS IS NOT TRUE)

She looked decent, but she wasn't satisfied. She did her hair and went downstairs.

"You look... amazing." Peggy told Eliza. "Why thank you, you are dazzling." Eliza responded. Angelica came down with her usual rose gold-pinkish dress. "Let us get in the carriage shall we?"

They soon arrived at the ball, "Ladies,I will be speaking to the General, feel free to roam around." Phillip Schuyler told his daughters. He led himself and Catherine, his wife in the venue while the sisters followed.

Classical music filled the room, the clanging of glasses, the pouring of champagne. It was an enormous ball. Peggy gave her sisters some champagne. Eliza turned around, Angelica was taken away by a revolutionary. She was dancing.

"May I have this dance?" A freckled man asked Eliza. "Yes. Yes, you may."

"John Laurens." The man said while they were dancing. "Elizabeth Schuyler." She replied. "So, where do you come from?" Eliza asked , who seems to be, John Laurens. "South Carolina, but I'm here in New York for the Revolution." John Laurens replied. Eliza nodded. After dancing, Eliza heard someone screaming. "JOHN! JOHN LAURENS! FRECKLE FACE!!!" It was Peggy. "PEGGY!" John Laurens rushed up to Peggy and hugged her. Eliza chuckled. "I see you've met my sister," Peggy said. "Yes, I have." The two continued chatting. Leaving Eliza alone. She observed the ball. Until she saw

Alexander.

She has this weird feeling. Her heart was beating faster. She ran up to Angelica like a 5 year old. "Angelica, see that man? This one's mine." Eliza tugged her sister in the arm. Angelica smirked at Eliza. Angelica was soon dragging the man. Oh dear. Eliza thought to herself. Alexander was there. Infront of her. "Elizabeth... Schuyler." Eliza curtsied. "Schuyler?" He looked at Angelica. "My sister." Angelica smiled. "It's a pleasure to meet you." Eliza tried to sound normal. "If it takes fighting a war for us to meet, It will have been worth it." He kisses Eliza hand. "I'll leave you to it."

They danced a bit and they ran outside to the balcony, hand-in-hand, laughing. "Heh, that was.. something." Alexander chuckled. "Yes, it surely was." Eliza replied. "Eliza, we should write to each other." Alexander told Eliza. "Yeah, yes, we should. Because this feels like a moment that should never end." Eliza faced Alexander. Alexander cupped Eliza's right cheek. And kissed her. It took 2 minutes. Or even more.

"Hamilton!" Suddenly, a shout cried. It was John Laurens and Peggy. "Laurens." Alexander quickly pulled away pink and clearly embarrassed. "Ms. Schuyler." Laurens nodded at Eliza. "John Laurens." She greeted.
The ball had ended. The Schuylers were leaving. Eliza looked behind her. She saw Alexander next to 3 other revolutionaries. Alexander looked at her. His left hand in a writing position. He softly shook it and nodded. Mouthing,

I will write to you, Eliza.
