Chapter Thirty Four: Misery loves Company

I kept cursing then Church came up with a idea I offered to go Doyle and Tucker as back up. I could tell he was nervous about doing this, "It's going to be okay." I told him suddenly enemies were coming we quickly hid. Well I hid they tried, "You guys are idiots!" I muttered then started shooting Doyle then told us that if we leave then they'll come after us. I quickly went after him I heard Kimball and Tucker yelling on the radio so I told them, "I'm with him so quit complaining! Hey, let me know what you're planning on doing?" "Mr.-" "Just Nemo." I stoped him then he continued, "I'm going to go through with the plan." I was shocked. "Wha-Are you crazy! I yelled angrily. You're going to get yourself killed!" "I know what i'm doing but I don't wish the same for you." Suddenly, we got an angry Wash yelling at us but he told him that we'll set off the reactor. Once we made it there I asked, "What do we have to do?" "I can do it as long as you can keep watch." Suddenly we both heard voices. "Crap." I muttered, "I must've not have not given them the slip." I quickly reached for my gun but I was almost out of ammo, "Aw shit. Doyle, we have a problem." I whispered, "What is it?" He whispered worriedly, "I'm low on ammo. I'm sure I can take those guys out but anymore show up we might be screwed." I told trying not to scare him. "Don't worry I still have some." "Great. I told him then somebody yelled, "Found him!" Doyle dodged and shot him but the controls were damaged. Suddenly he asked, "How did you get on my mongoose?" "What? I asked him confused. "Please answer my question!" He begged, "I have a transportation thing Felix gave me while I was them." "Is it safe?" Yeah, Church debugged it. Why?" "I need you to get out of here!" What! No! No! There has to be another way!" I begged him, "I'm sure there isn't and if you don't leave we'll both perish. I'm sorry, Nemo." Suddenly he got a call from Kimball, he explained what happened then Wash asked, Wait, isn't Nemo with you can't he kill the enemies?" I then radio then saying, "I'm low ammo. I don't think I have enough. I told them sadly while following Doyle to the site he then told her that she's the I only one that could kill Felix after he sighed off he told me, "Now you must go Nemo. I fear we must spit paths but may I asked you for once last request?" "W-What is it?" "Can you please protect and watch over everyone especially miss Kimball? Please!" He begged me, "I-I promised." I told him "Thank you. Now quickly go before it's too late!" He begged me as I told, I'm sorry." then teleported to where we were suppose to meet, "Nemo!" I heard them scream Wash then grabbed my arm taking on board but we quickly had to brace for impact however Carolina did something. "Shit!" After it all Church was unconscious I think. However while he was under Wash, Carolina and Kimball took this time to question me about what happened. "I don't want to talk about it!" I told them but Carolina insisted, "You have to, you where the only one there!" "Just leave me alone!" I demanded angrily then Kimball yelled. "Mercenary Nemo I command you answer us." That was it, "You want to know what happened? He died and I lived because I followed his orders and the mission was completed by any means necessary so I hope your happy!" I told them angrily before leaving to be alone to morn and train. however I came back when I heard Church was back online. "Church! I cried happily, Are you okay?" "Looks like he cares for at lease one person." I glared at Carolina then left to be alone but Donut started talking to me, "Hey rain cloud where's the rainbow? I smiled a bit but frowned, What's wrong Nemo? You've been so sad and moody ever since we left Armenia." I sighed, "Donut, can I tell you something private?" "Sure, what is it?" I sighed, "I can't stop loosing people." "What do you mean?" He asked confused "I mean ever since I was young I've lost people, from my parents to now Doyle and sad part was I was suppose to protect him." "Well what happened?" "And that another thing! People want me to talk about it but i'm not ready to! I just can't..." "Hey, Nemo?" "Hmm?" "I think you're a really strong person." "Why?" I just laughed while shaking me head, "Okay Donut, I'll let you if I have anything else bother me." "Okie dokie." We then met up for a meeting, I mostly stayed quite, during the whole thing but as then Kimball offered to talk to them before she did I stopped them, "Hey, I-um, I'm sorry snapping earlier. It's wasn't your fault it's mine. I just need time." She sighed, "I guess we all were quick, i'm sorry as well. She then left then started talking, "Tucker!" I yelled as she continued I smiled as went on afterward I cheered with that others, after that we returned to the tower.
