chapter 2

The clock rang sooner tan what i had expected. I didn’t want to get up. Well, I had never liked waking up early, but today was too much for me. I didn’t know if I would get through it.

i finally got up and went to the bathroom, to see if a quick shower made me feel better.

It didn’t work.

After dressing up, I went down to the kitchen. It was the first time I was there and it was quite comfortable. Sun rays entered through the great window and that made me feel a little bit stronger

On the table there was a written paper. It was from my mother. It said that she had gone to work and a simple map of how to get to high school.

Couldn’t she have gave it to me yesterday?

Well at least she had brought me a starbucks coffee and muffin. I loved it. I ate as fast as I could, got my stuff and left. This way if I got lost at least I would reach in time.

The first step was easy. I head to the bus stop and waited for the right bus.

The next moves where simple too. Cross roads, turn at some places and in less than fifteen minutes I was already at the gates of the school.

I arrived too early, so i decided to seat down on the stairs before the bell rang.

I put my headphones on and started listening to music. A place in this world by taylor Swift. How predictable…

            -are you new here?- a guy had just seat down next to me

            - yeah-

- I’m Drew- he said as he smiled widely. He was very handsome. Clear eyes, brown hair.

- I’m Charlotte- i said back, smiling at him too.

- well, I hope to see you soon. Bye

And before I could reply he stood up and started talking with some guys who had just arrived. What an strange person…well, I was glad he talked to me. At least now I could tell I had made one friend…no?

I watched him as he got near a blonded tall girl and they started making out. Actually the girl looked like a Victoria Secret’s model. It wasn’t strange that they were both together.

I looked down to my phone cause the scene of me looking at a hot couple making out was going to be a bit awkward if someone noticed it.

Some minutes later the bell rang and I entered.
