* Victoria's POV *

" Victoria! Your going to be late! Come down for breakfast! " I hear my mom yell from downstairs.

" Huh? " I say as I look at my phone and it reads 7:30.

My eyes widen and I jump out of bed.

" OH MY GOD! My bus comes at 7: 45! Ugh! " I say tearing through my closet to find something to wear.

I decide to go with high waisted shorts and a white long sleeve crop top and my white high top converse.

I throw them on and put on BB cream and mascara, and decide to leave my hair natural since its naturally wavy.

I run back to my room and grab my bag and head down the stairs.

" Bye mom! " I scream opening the front door.

" Victoria! " my mom yells.

I turn around and she tosses me a Cliff Bar.

I smile at her and run down the driveway.

" Hey! Where were you? The bus will be her any minute, come on! " Hayes says and grabs my hand and we run to the bus stop.

When we get there, I check my phone.

7:47.

" Did we miss it?! " I ask turning to Hayes.

" Nah, I never saw it! It should be here soon though. "

" Okay. " I say calming down.

Just as I was about to say something I hear the bus down the road.

" There it is! " Hayes says smiling at me.

When I get on the bus, Hayes sits next to me, and puts his arm over my shoulder.

He looks around the bus and whispers in my ear.

" Chase isn't on "

I nod and loosen up.

* At School * 

I get off and Hayes never leaves my side.

Lily comes up to us and starts to talk about this teacher she doesn't like.

I look behind her and see Kylee a couple feet away giving you a death stare.

I look at Hayes and he was looking at her too.

I look back at Kylee and see she's smirking.

Hayes tightens his grip on my waist.

I look up him and he's looking down at you with worry in his eyes.

" Umm, hello? Lovebirds? Did you hear anything I just said? " Lily asks.

" Yeah, you were talking about Mr.Davis! " Hayes says confidently.

Lily scoffs.

" Mr.Harris " she says rolling her eyes.

I laugh and Hayes looks embarrassed.

" That's what I meant.. " Hayes says trying to cover it up.

" Right! " Lily says and grabs my arm and drags me to our lockers.

You grab your things and head to Art.

* At Lunch *

When I got to lunch I wasn't very hungry so I grabbed an apple and sat at the table the football players sit at.

" Hey! I'm Travis. " a football player sits next to me and holds out his hand.

" Victoria. " I say shaking his hand with a smile.
