                     I just can't believe I am unbelievably falling for him, I have a daughter for Christ's sake! "You okay? You seem to be deep in thought." interrupted Jack. "Oh yes, I was just thinking how could someone shoot this old man." I said. "Someone who is professional in this kind of work, taking lives."

                          "What do you mean?" asked Jack. "Nothing was stolen from the man, no abrasions and no witnesses. Stottlemeyer, tell me the details." Stottlemeyer started "Oliver Charlestone, 53 years old, respected policeman and was-" "Divorced four years ago." continued by Monk. How did you know that?" asked Stottlemeyer.

                      "There is a slight callus where his ring finger meets his palm. It takes years to build up a callus from the slight friction of a ring against the skin. So, I'd say he has been married for at least three years. But he still keeps the ring on, he puts it on and off usually, just so he can remember her."
