The Crazy Daughter of Albus Dumbledore

 A/N: I feel a bit bad cos people in the comments thought Lily was up to something when my plan all along was for it to sorta montage a bit. Well, I mean, we’re skipping a bit now. If I detailed every adventure Bella had as a kid, I’d never get to the good bits. Like Lily and James dying, the resurrection of Voldemort – all those fun and not heartbreaking scenes that you guys get to re-experience yay.

Bella quickly adjusted to life with the Marauders, and it seemed to her that summer came too quickly.
Then again…
“Dada!” Bella ran into her father’s arms. She grinned at him as she hugged him. Truth be told, she had begun to forget him, as children do when constantly distracted by the five other members of the house, but seeing him again brought back all the memories, and the need for attention. After all, a lot had happened since she’d seen him last – she’d got new clothes, Snuffles had accidentally caused a house fire, Pettigrew had been locked out of the house all night (which was mostly her fault, but she wasn’t going to tell anyone).
Dumbledore chuckled as he picked her up. “You’ve gotten big,” he told her.
Bella laughed and pulled his beard. He made a face in response and she laughed, burying her head against his neck.
“She’s had lots of adventures, haven’t you Bella?” Lily asked and Sirius made an amused noise.
“Nothing too dangerous, I hope?” Dumbledore asked, not taking his eyes off his daughter as she pulled away and shook her head emphatically.
“Nothing she couldn’t handle,” Sirius assured him.
Dumbledore chuckled again. “You’ll have to tell me all about it,” he told Bella, whose grin had somehow widened to the point of a Cheshire cat.
He looked around. “Let’s take a walk, shall we?” he asked, and Bella nodded and put her head back on his shoulder.
As he carried her outside he gave Lily and Sirius a look.
They nodded back. He had news.

Not quite sure how long Dumbledore is expecting to be able to pick up his daughter, so this may be the last time I write him doing that. *cough* In case you were wondering. I don’t think any of you were but… Anyway, hope you enjoyed, see you next time!
