Titles.
It's a very important aspect when writing a book because it's what the reader first reads. So when I scroll though some books in my library, it's just so disappointing. I have a LOT of books in my Wattpad library so I'm saying 'some'.
I'm not calling anyone out, but I once read a book about a bad boy with a goody-goody girl. A typical story plot. But the title was like 'wtf'? Like, what does it have anything to do with the story line? The title was something like 'Okay' or something like that. I just. I'm done.
And when the title is like two sentences. It's not supposed to be one so why two?
'My journey that leads me to meet the man of my dreams'
It's all good but seriously? And also when the title is a question.
'Do I like him?'
I'm not sure, do ya?
For example, if a book is about a girl who's naive and is stuck with a snobby, well-experienced guy that drives her crazy, the book could be called 'Bordering Insanity'.
Oh! And the title should be 1-5 words, no more.
You're all probably thinking, is she flipping serious? Who the hell does she think she is?
